Storage Tips
Trucks
A 26' moving truck is only 8' wide and 8' tall. They should fit in a 10x20 unit. Our units are 17 feet tall & 10-11 feet wide.
Fabrics
Don't let fabric or wood furniture come into contact with concrete floors.
There is a "sweat" factor at play.
Put a sheet of cardboard in between them and the floor. Many of our customers use pallets. Remember, you have to take the pallets with you when you are done.
Plan Ahead
If you have friends or family volunteering to help you move, we advise you call or visit at least the day before to get the paperwork done.
Learn your way around & keycode security system ahead of time. On moving day, your volunteers shouldn't have to wait while your signing up for a storage unit.
When to Rent
Spring is the busiest time of the year.
College and planned home sales are the usual reasons.
